Kees van der Westen - Dutch Design
In 1984, Kees van der Westen built his first coffee machine as part of a project for his Industrial Design study. After finishing his studies, he continued to design espresso machines that look like they belong in a museum. Some designs even look like they would feel right at home on a racetrack or landing strip. Nowadays, the company offers four signature machines, all with their own high precision and performance.
Mirage
First up, the Mirage. Available as a two or three group machine, the Mirage is most known for its meticulous temperature stability. It supports a huge steam capacity and works with a foot activated steam valve.
Spirit
When it comes to combining extreme precision with incredible power and enormous capacity, the Spirit is what you’re looking for. Built to withstand a high demand, the multiple group machine delivers, no matter what you throw at it.
Slim Jim
This machine combines features from both our classic Mirage and high-end Spirit. The Slim Jim carries our signature espresso machine design looks and continues our tradition of performance and build quality.Speedster
For the ones that aren’t looking for a large machine, the Speedster is your answer. The Speedster is a single group espresso machine which excels incredible precision.

La Marzocco - Italian Nostalgie
La Marzocco was founded in 1927 in Florence. No wonder that these espresso machines originate from the birthplace of the Renaissance: they are unique, elegant and of high quality. The Linea PB features the iconic La Marzocco polished stainless steel body, updated with simplified lines and a lower profile, equipped with exclusive, user friendly interface software that gives the barista direct functional control over boiler temperature, brewing volume, hot water tap dose, auto-back flush as well as other options. The Linea PB’s lower profile and increased work area also make it practical, without abandoning world renown Italian design.GB5 X
The GB5 X is designed in a traditional European style and is dedicated to locations with an eye on classic aesthetics that demand the highest level of performance. The machine features independent boilers allowing for different brewing temperatures on each group; a convenient hot water economizer to set the hot water temperature as well as a dynamic pre-heater for additional and unsurpassed temperature stability. In ABR configuration the GB5 X is La Marzocco’s most elegant machine equipped with patented scale technology.
Strada
La Marzocco set out to design the Strada EP (Electronic Paddle) because of a shift in the market. This machine provides the barista full control over the brewing process. As more coffee roasters began to move towards direct trade and relationship coffees, we realised there was a need for a more stable, reliable and versatile machine that enabled them to showcase the very best of these coffees.Bad coffee at the office?
